Amidst the hoopla surrounding new albums and singles from some of the biggest names in country music, there are some up-and-coming, young artists making their debuts with brand new music as well.

The FARM, one of the freshest young groups in the genre, will unveil their self-titled debut album on July 17, only a few weeks from now.  Anticipation has been building week after week ever since fans learned of the album’s release date, especially considering the outrageous success of the trio’s current single, “Home Sweet Home.”

Consisting of Nick Hoffman (vocals, fiddle), Damien Horne (vocals, keyboard, guitar), and Krista Marie (vocals, guitar), the FARM has undeniable talent, charisma, and musical ingenuity, and we all can’t wait to get our hands (and ears) on this release.  The record has eleven tracks, including songs like “Farm Party,” “Fresh Off The Farm,” and “Little Boat.”  Details surrounding specific songs on the album have been kept quiet, but if their single is an indication, this is going to be a great album.

They will hit the road in support of the album this summer, with appearances scheduled at the Country Stampede and Country Thunder festivals and the Deadwood Mountain Grand, among many others.  For more information, including tour dates, visit their official website.

And while the FARM will unleash their first album in a few weeks, there is another country trio offering new music for fans.  Scarletta released their debut single, “Right Here, Right Now,” to country radio last week, and already the public reception has been impressive.  The song has quite a resume, too, written by the members of Scarletta as well as Paul Taylor, and was co-produced by Blake Chancey.

Scarletta includes Aubrey Collins (vocals), Nathan Stoops (fiddle), and Benji Harris (guitar), and have been on the road visiting radio stations nationwide in support of “Right Here, Right Now.”
