New Artist Spotlight: Rachele Lynae

One of the most incredible aspects of the country music scene is the overwhelming amount of undiscovered talent.  In cities all across America (and the world), hundreds of artists and musicians with impeccable talent are garnering respect, recognition, and appreciation regionally, while striving forward to meet their ultimate goal of becoming a national star.

In the case of Rachele Lynae, she won’t be included in the category of undiscovered talent any longer.  Nashville has found her, and the rest of the country music world will know her soon.

Simply put, Rachele Lynae is a music publicist’s dream.  She is one of the more promising singer-songwriters on the new artist circuit, she has the girl-next-door charm off stage and the intense party-driven demeanor on stage.  She has the looks, the confidence, and the appreciation for the industry…and she’s been singing and performing for as long as she can remember.

Rachele knew at an early age that she wanted to write, sing, and perform country music.  From the moment she realized her life’s ambition, she wanted to pursue it immediately, full speed ahead.

“I always wanted to sing country music.  When I was 10, I remember sitting in my dad’s truck and saying, ‘Dad, we don’t have a lot of time. LeAnn Rimes was 13 when she released “Blue.”  We don’t have time.  We have to get on this!’”

Well, while she didn’t release an album at 13, she certainly had her career in high gear.  She began writing songs when she was 12 years old, and was touring up and down the west coast by the time she was 17.  After making the decision to attend Belmont University, Rachele continued to develop as a songwriter and singer, intertwining her classes and school work while also performing at some of most popular (and famous) honkytonks in Nashville (Tootie’s Orchid Lounge, ie).

After recording a five song EP during her senior year, she presented it to musician/manager Jimmy Murphy, who is also the father of hit-maker Jamie O’Neal.  Rachele and Jamie have been working together on singing, songwriting, and producing since.

“When I first came to her studio, I was so excited to be working with Jamie.  I was a little intimidated at first, but she put me at ease the moment we met.  We both like to belt it out, so musically, we connected immediately.  She’s been a big influence on me as a vocalist and I couldn’t be more thrilled about the music we’re making together.”

Among others, Rachele, O’Neal, and Murphy, penned what will be her debut single, “Party ‘Til the Cows Come Home,” with Stephanie Bentley.  The song will be released on April 16, and serves as the absolute representation of what country music can expect from this emerging new artist.

Now, with a new single, a new video, and a forthcoming album scheduled for a 2012 release on Momentum Label Group (Jamie O’Neal’s indie label), things are coming together for Rachele Lynae.  The 24 year old from commercial fisherman’s daughter, after years of singing, songwriting, and performing, she will finally be introduced to the country music world.  Keep an eye out for this rising songstress over the coming months; she’ll be sure to have country fans everywhere partying…well…til the cows come home.
