As the summer is winding down, plenty of country music tours are reaching the end of their final legs in the next couple of weeks. Typically at this time of the year, many artists will park the tour bus and reserve some time in the recording studio, anxious to put music to the lyrics they’ve been writing while out on the road. Country music fans young and old have some new music to be excited about this month, as both Dierks Bentley and Collin Raye are releasing brand new singles to radio.
As was reported a couple of weeks ago, Dierks Bentley will release a brand new EP called ‘Country & Cold Cans,’ due out August 21. Shortly after the announcement, it was learned that the new single would be “Tip It On Back,” and that it would be hitting radio airwaves very soon. Well, it’s available now, streaming at radio, and is available for purchase on iTunes.
The song certainly has a lot to live up to, considering that Bentley’s previous three singles all hit the top of the charts, including “Am I the Only One” and “5-1-5-0,” as well as the title track to his sixth studio album, ‘Home.’
“Tip It On Back” has country music fans’ excitement for the new album release at an overwhelming high, and Dierks will be hitting the road for some spot shows to share the new music. For the latest tour dates and album information, log on to his official website.
And do you remember Collin Raye? Some of the younger country music fans might not recall, but the singer/songwriter was a big star in the 1990’s and into the 2000’s, accumulating a total of 11 studio albums and 16 No. 1 singles since his debut in 1991. His most notable tunes include “In This Life,” “One Boy, One Girl,” “My Kind of Girl,” “Love, Me,” and “Couldn’t Last a Moment.” Remember him now?
Collin is back with a brand new single, available exclusively at iTunes. “Never Gonna Stand for This” is a public patriotic callout to those who are dissatisfied with the American government.
One leading character trait, in person and on the stage, is that he’s always been very passionate in his music…and that continues to be the case with “Never Gonna Stand for This.” For the latest news and updates on Collin Raye, log on to his official website.[signoff]
